Looking for a fun and colorful way to learn to solder? Try out our friendly Learn to Solder Clownfish "Sam" a try. The student may have seen a relative of Sam in the movies embarking on a fantastic ocean journey.

Well, this is their chance to begin a journey of their own with Chaney Electronics Learn to Solder Clownfish. Utilizing the latest PC board routing technology, the student is given the shape of the Clownfish to solder the provided electronic components onto. They begin by soldering the four "Dog Bone" resistors that mimic the vertical stripes of the Clownfish, as well as two orange capacitors that are similar to the pectoral and dorsal fins. Then the student can solder a rare vintage "tropical fish capacitor" (a component that is very rare and valuable). The student completes the kit by aligning the leads of a bright and colorful flashing LED (observing polarity) so the eye of the Clownfish lights up. Not only will the student be learning a valuable skill, but the student will also have a deep sense of accomplishment to continue their electronic exploration!
