How DO They Get That Commercial Free Music??
- Tunes entire SCA subcarrier band, 50 to 100 KHz
- Features both speaker and line level audio outputs
- Simply plugs into our FR1 FM broadcast receiver or to detector in any FM receiver
Believe it or not, they get it off the local FM radio station, but with a special decoder. Now you can build your own decoder and tap into the wealth of programming available to those "in-the-know."
Programming available runs the gamut from stock quotes, to rock music, to easy listening, to all news. These services are "hidden" in subcarriers riding along with the standard FM radio station's usual programming. The decoder connects to the detector output on an FM receiver; if your receiver does not have such an output, consider our FR1C above!
Tune into what you've been missing, try the SCA1. Includes a custom case set to match the FR1 receiver. Case measures 5"W x 1 1/2"H x 5 1/4"D.
