This Wireless Alarm System uses a sophisticated Passive Infrared Sensor (PIR). The PIR Sensor is fully assembled and can detect the presence of a human at up to 40 feet away and transmit the intruder detection to the 433MHz receiver kit that you build. The PIR detector is totally wireless, is fully assembled and requires a 9V battery (not included).

The receiver can be located almost anywhere in the house (no hookup wires to the sensor are needed) and it sounds the alarm whenever the 433MHz PIR sensor detects an intruder. The PIR sensor is fully assembled and will operate for long periods of time from the battery. The PIR sensor represents the latest in Passive Infrared technology and uses a very complex circuit consisting of various ICs to process the detection of the intruder and transmit the signal to the receiver.

The PIR sensor is about 5” tall x 3” W x 2 1/8” deep with an attractive beige case which can be mounted or hung on any wall by using a nail or screw. The 5” L x 2 1/4” W Receiver Kit is operated from an AC adapter so no batteries are needed. It features a sensitivity control and an alarm tone “time on” control so that you can cause the alarm tone to stay on for a longer period of time. The Receiver Kit does not come with a box and you must build it as it is in kit form.
