CGA-04 Digital Geiger Counter - RS-232 (Available in 4 weeks - May 20th)

The GCA-07 and GCA-04 Digital Meter Geiger Counters are NRC certification ready. They provide both a high accuracy count (CPS/CPM) and equivalent radiation level on the LCD display. The NRC certifications are available at additional cost*. All Digital Geiger counters includes windows pulse counting and radiation graphing program. PC graphing program can import and export data.

All Digital Geiger Counters are factory calibrated. We also offer calibration services & upgrades for our digital geiger counters.

Three Radiological Instruments in One.

Survey Meter
Takes real time radiation readings and displays the count/second and equivalent radiationlevel in either ImperialmR/hr or Metric mSv/hr. These are real time one second interval readings for count with three second averaging on radiation level. Count readings will fluctuate second by second, because it displays the actual number of radioactive particles detectedincomparison to analogmeter counters that average radioactivity levels.

Background Radiation Monitor
Take 1 minute or 5 minute readings. Displays accumulated count and equivalent background radiation in either uR/hr or uSv/hr.

Scientific Instrument & Industrial Tool

Our Digital Geiger counters are calibrated using CS-137 Gamma source are NRCcertifiedready (optional)

Secondary indicators; audio (clicks) and visual (LED) included. Also includes a headphone jack and a power jack for external power.

Both Digital Geiger Counters GCA-07 and GCA-04 outputs the counts per second to our Windows PC program for charting and recording the measured radiation over time (see WIN XP screen shot). Saved graphic data files may be imported into Microsoft Excel.
